Support Our Club
You’ve heard the saying “It Just Takes One.” Well, it’s true. It does just take one…one person, one donation, one gift, one act of kindness. Since 1889, the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester has been a source of hope and opportunity to countless children in our city thanks to the support of people and organizations like you. We are currently the largest youth development agency in Central Massachusetts, serving over 11,000 youth annually. The Boys & Girls Club of Worcester is an investment you can believe in, and whether you choose to BE a volunteer, a supporter or a donor, your investment is one that will never lose value and will truly make a difference in the lives of our children.
Here’s how you can BE a part of making a difference:
Welcome YouthConnect Members and Parents
As a member you have access to our state of the art pool where swim lessons are offered daily, a music studio if you want to learn to play the drums, keyboard and/or guitar or if you’re just interested in recording a track. We offer a boxing program for ages 8-18 with the opportunity to train and become a licensed boxer. Other programming offered daily is homework help, social recreation through the games room, health and fitness with activities in basketball (traveling and in-house) and flag football leagues for girls and boys, as well as gender specific leagues, and outside court activities (whether permitting.) We also have a teen room which serves as a hang out space for ages 14 to 18 years old. If you are interested in introductory dance classes we also provide that which is run by our Director and Assistant Director of our very own In Da Zone dance team with assistance from our IDZ dancers.
We offer Job readiness programs that prepare youth who are eligible to work with skills such as resume writing, mock interviewing, volunteer services and so much more. Our leadership programs are offered through age specific programming. These Hands, Torch clubs and Keystone are programs that focus on academics, volunteerism and prompting positive attributes for our young members.
There’s so much to get involved in. All you have to do is ask “how do I become a member.”
